Health & Safety Measures

Welcome back fans! The Bermuda Championship is the first PGA TOUR event since march to allow spectators. The health and safety of all associated with the Bermuda Championship is our No. 1 priority. The tournament and the PGA TOUR have an extensive set of COVID-19 health and safety measures implemented in conjunction with CDC guidelines to promote a safe environment and quality experience on the golf course. This includes the three W’s: Wear a Mask, Watch Your Distance, and Wash Your Hands.

Know Before You Go/Admission Protocols

Know what can and cannot be brought through the gates. Please review the lists below and leave any non-approved items in your car or at home. Prohibited bags of any kind cannot be left at security checkpoints.

 

The tournament does not provide a “bag check” facility. All bags must conform to the PGA TOUR’s bag policy and will be searched upon entering. The PGA TOUR tournament bag policy is available to download here.

Bag Policy & Approved Items

THESE ITEMS WILL BE ALLOWED

  • Personal bags 6″ x 6″ or smaller
  • Clear plastic, vinyl or other carry items not exceeding 12″ x 6″ x 12″
  • A one gallon clear re-sealable plastic bag
  • Mobile phones, tablets, and PDA’s – MUST be on Silent mode and adhere to TOUR’s Mobile Device Policy
  • Umbrellas without sleeve
  • Portable radios with headsets
  • Medically necessary supplies, Strollers, small diaper bags, plastic baby bottles, and other necessary baby supplies (infant must be with carrier) – items subject to search
  • Collapsible chairs without chair bags
  • Binoculars without case
  • Seat cushions that do not require a carrying case or that do not have pockets or compartments
  • Segways, motorized scooters or other personal transportation devices when used as a mobility aid by individuals with mobility impairment
Prohibited Items

PLEASE DO NOT BRING THESE ITEMS TO THE TOURNAMENT

  • No bags larger than a small purse 6 x 6 including carrying cases, backpacks, camera bags or chair bags
  • No clear plastic, vinyl, or other carry items larger than 12 x 6 x 12
  • No Glass Cups or bottles of any kind except for medical or infant needs
  • No computers or laptops
  • No fireworks or laser pointers
  • No lounge or oversize chairs with extended footrests
  • No seat cushions in a carrying case or that have pockets or compartments
  • No pets, except for service animals
  • No knives, firearms or weapons of any nature
  • No video cameras
  • No cameras (point and shoot, film or DSLR)
  • No selfie sticks or hand-held camera stabilizers
  • No beverages (patrons may not bring in or exit with beverages) or coolers
  • No radios, TVs, or portable speakers
  • No posters, signs or banners
  • No outside food or beverage
  • No motorcylcles, mopeds, tricycles, bicycles (whether or not motor-driven), skateboards, hoverboards, or other similar devices will be permitted to be operated on or within tournament property. Segways, motorized scooters or other personal transportation devices are prohibited if not used as a mobility aid by individuals with mobility impairment.
  • No drones, Remote Controlled Model Aircrafts or other devices that can be operated in airspaces will be permitted to be operated at PGA TOUR events during tournament week.
  • No other items deemed unlawful or dangerous by the PGA TOUR/Tournament Security Officials

Please Note: Strollers, plastic baby bottles and other baby supplies are permitted on the course. (infant must be with carrier)

 

For security purposes, you hereby consent to the reasonable inspection of your person and property before entering the Tournament, which may include metal detection.

Mobile Phone Policy

Spectators are allowed to take photos during the week with their mobile devices throughout the golf course, except in areas of competition during official rounds or when requested by players, security, and TOUR officials to refrain from taking a photo. Receiving or placing phone calls will remain limited to areas outside of play.

Reminder: Point and shoot, film or DSLR cameras are not permitted for general spectator use.

Are tickets available for purchase?

Tickets are sold out. 

Do children need a ticket to attend?

*NEW for 2020* All spectators, regardless of age, will require a ticket for entry for the Bermuda Championship. NO junior tickets will be available.

Can I purchase tickets at the gate?

Tickets will not be available for purchase at the tournament gates. All tickets are SOLD OUT.

Where is parking located?

All parking will be FREE for spectators. Click here for additional parking information and maps.

When do tournament gates open?

Gates will open 30 minutes before tee times, Thursday-Sunday. Visit our Schedule of Events for daily times. Gate times are approximate and based on tee times.

Can I bring a backpack with me?

Certain items are restricted at PGA TOUR events. Bags must be smaller than 6” x 6” x 6”, with the with the exception of clear bags measuring 12” x 12” x 6” or less. Click here to see the official PGA TOUR bag policy.

Can I bring outside food & beverages? Will there be concessions?

ALCOHOL POLICY

No alcoholic beverages may be served or sold to anyone under the age of eighteen (18) years. No food or beverages may be brought into the course. Concessions are available.

 

CONCESSIONS

Numerous concession stands are located on the course serving food and beverage items.

No outside food or beverages are allowed in the tournament.

Can I still attend if it's raining?

If it rains any day of the tournament, play will continue as long as it is deemed safe to do so. The PGA TOUR and the tournament staff will always keep spectators informed at the earliest possible moment of any changes made on this policy based upon situational circumstances.

Does the tournament offer a Will Call location?

Will Call is located at the Secondary Admissions Gates. Photo ID will be required at Will Call to pick up tickets.

Golf Etiquette

  • Stay quiet and stand still when the players are about to hit the ball
  • “Hands in the air” means to stop and be quiet while golfers are playing their shots
  • Stay behind the rope at all times
  • Help patrons be considerate of each other and kneel or sit down whenever possible, to allow better viewing for those behind you
  • For your own safety, follow the directions of the tournament marshals
